The Place

The Place is an East Coast-based travelling, collaborative, creative space popping up at different festivals and events around the Maritimes. Visitors are encouraged to experiment with the wide variety of art supplies provided to explore new mediums and express themselves without pressure or judgment, or simply come in to decompress, enjoy the ambience, and make new connections. The Place is operated by a small collective with backgrounds in human-centred healing who believe in art as a therapeutic, educational, and empowering practice. Our goal is to create a safe, accessible, inclusive, and inspiring place where both community spirit and individual authenticity are nurtured and deepened.
