Access at Future Forest
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to take part. Below is what we offer to make Future Forest more accessible, and how to reach us so we can plan around your needs. The best thing you can do is tell us early, so email becca@futureforest.ca ahead of the festival and we will do our best to support you.
Access on site
What we offer
Accessible Park & Camp
Our most central campsites are set aside for people with accessibility or mobility needs, close to the info booth, food vendors, the Tea Hive, and washrooms, and sitting between the Mushroom and Prism stages. Accessible Park & Camp is complimentary. To reserve a spot, email becca@futureforest.ca ahead of the festival.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking is available on site. A government-issued accessible parking placard is required.
Washrooms
An accessible portable toilet is located near Accessible Park & Camp, and washrooms across the site are all-gender.
Medical and medication
Trained medical staff are on site around the clock, naloxone is available, and there is refrigeration for medications that need it. Tell our team about any health requirements ahead of time so we can be ready.
Quiet and calm spaces
Quiet zones let you step away from the noise, and the Tea Hive is a calm, judgment-free place to land. Free earplugs are available at the Info Hub, First Aid, Safety, and the Tea Hive.
Know before you come
What the ground is like
Future Forest is a backcountry-style festival on natural forest ground. Paths are uneven in places, the camping is rustic, and it may not suit every access need. The Nest Stage sits at the bottom of a steep hill and is not currently wheelchair accessible. Plan for grass, slopes, and dust or mud depending on the weather, and some distance between areas. If you are not sure whether something will work for you, email us and we will talk it through.
Tell us what you need
Anything else, just ask
Everyone's needs are different, and we cannot list everything here. If there is something that would help you take part that is not covered above, email becca@futureforest.ca ahead of the festival and we will do our best to support you.
When you are here
Getting help on site
There is no cell service on site, so email becca@futureforest.ca to sort out access needs before you come. Once you arrive, the fastest way to get help is to find the nearest team member, the First Aid building, or the Info Hub. Our teams are here all weekend.

Accessibility of this site
We want this website to work for everyone. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 AA and treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time box to tick. If you hit a barrier here, or you need information from this site in another format, email becca@futureforest.ca and we will help.
