Brooklyn Brown

Brooklyn Brown is a visual artist based in Fredericton, with a passion for creativity that began in 2019. Working with acrylic paint, Brooklyn’s signature style utilizes vivid neon’s and unconventional techniques such as paint splatter and drips. Her unique approach to art has earned her a reputation for producing bold, dream-like pieces that seamlessly blend components of both realism and abstraction. In addition to her striking and colorful works, Brooklyn is also known for her thought-provoking nude portraiture, capturing the raw beauty and vulnerability of the human form. With a keen eye for detail and an unwavering dedication to her craft, Brooklyn continues to push the boundaries of traditional art forms and is constantly exploring new ways to create stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Josie has BIG passion and a broad mixture of approaches ranging from painting, sketching, ink, collage, branding, design, illustration, to children’s books and more.

Chelsea lushman

Hi! I’m Chelsea, a 26 year old autistic woman who has chosen the life path of being an artist. I graduated Mckenzie college in 2016 and then spent four years teaching art classes, but since then i’ve been taking it easy, and doing art that makes me happy! Focusing mostly on themes and events from my lucid dreams and mental obstacles. I previously did art at future forest 2019 and i’m ready to jump back in with some more vibrant colors in 2023!

ELLE – Danielle

For years Danielle Fairweather has been preforming at festivals, mixing her art along with the love of fashion and dance. This year she has been rebranding herself as ELLE, where everything she does will be amplified. Look forward to large, psychedelic, glow-light art to compliment the Future Forest atmosphere.

Emily Danger Powers

Emily Danger Powers is a visual artist based in E’se’katik, Mi’kma’ki (Lunenburg, Nova Scotia). She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts From NSCAD University in 2012, and has continued to develop her art practice ever since. Well-versed in a variety of mediums her current focus is acrylic painting, with a love for portraiture (both human and animal). Playing with the juxtaposition between highly-rendered figures, and two-dimensional collage, repeating patterns, and sketch work, her portraits explore the gap between reality and how we perceive it – much like how our dreams and memories change each time we revisit them. She has a passion for creating, and especially enjoys any opportunity to live-paint at various events and festivals around the Maritimes. Emily has been involved with the festival community for over a decade, and looks forward to creating alongside the many talented artists, creators, and music makers every summer.

High Noon

A painter of the fantastical, I am whisked by deep colors and dreamy atmosphere, dipped in a little melancholy. Of many mediums, acrylic and oil seem to be a great friend to me. I am endlessly trying to disperse my creative expression in a thousand directions, but always find myself coming back to the brush in hand.
I am Canadian made, and from all over within those bounds. Lately, I nest in Moncton, New Brunswick while I apprentice to put ink to skin.

Ink by Mic

Mic is an artist of multiple mediums, with her primary creative focus being tattooing. She currently dwells in Wolastoqiyik Territory // Fredericton, NB, and is endlessly inspired by nature, people, travel, dreams and connection. Her work is visible in the flesh (she loves a good pun!) or on instagram, under the handle @ink.by.mic

Jessica Dreadful

Jessica Dreadful is a multidisciplinary artist. Dynamic, open minded, always exploring and evolving. As I grow, gathering skills in a variety of mediums, with many passions and interests, I know there will always be opportunities to challenge myself. My work is inspired by the natural world and the human form. The themes in my current works are personal and intimate; touching on the erotic, they are intense and dramatic. Inspired by our world, and the human connection to it. I use natural lines, forms and shapes to create harmony and work to create layered pieces that engage the senses, encouraging viewers to touch and to spend the time finding all the hidden nuances within them.
