While this is a fun time where we will be winning PRIZES, we will also be chatting about what you can find at the festival. Whats the shower ettiquette? Where could I find wifi? Whats the Nest and how do I find it? If I lose my voice, where is the best tea? We’ve got the TEA on tea, and we will be spilling it.

Repetitive rhythmic sounds can induce body movements and alter states of consciousness. In this talk, I will discuss the links between body movements and bass, and how bass and rhythms are processed by our brain with a neuroscientific approach. I will make the link with rhythm-induced trance states, a common practice in shamanism. I will end with a reflection on how to integrate this knowledge into actual electronic music.

An Introduction to French Poetry with an history of Québécois poetry. I will do a brief presentation about Acadian poetry as well. The workshop will start with a reading period, of course there will be a bunch of books on display, both french and english but mostly french of course. Then there will be a writing period with suggested themes. We will be finishing with a sharing period but sharing isn’t mandatory.

A musically driven yoga experience for the deep need to ground and reconnect with yourself throughout the weekend in order to maintain a healthy presence in the Forest. This class is a way for you to become grounded and nourished through a gentle all levels/all bodies yoga practice while being held in space by the experimental soundscapes of various instruments and sounds.
Come join Wolastoqiyik Bree and Justine to deepen your relationship with the unceded, unsurrendered Wolastoqey territory. Learn some basic Wolastoqey words you can share. Learn about resources available to continue learning Wolastoqey latuwewakon. Converse with land-based educators and see how to incorporate Indigenous practices into your life, journey and or job. Please be mindful as not to be under the influence of hard drugs or alcohol when partaking in Wolastoqey cultural practices.
Michelle’s Yin Yang Yoga class combines her slow yet strong Hatha approach with her love of a deep stretch via Yin Yoga. Michelle will gage what participants need in the moment and provide a mix of free movement, melting into the ground, partner stretches, affirmations and planting intentions. Come nourish your body, stretch what needs to be stretched, and feel nourished for the dance floor!
